Professor Dr Murat Arslan is actively working on laparoscopy training and education inTurkish Urological Society and International Robotics and Laparoscopy Association (ILRSA) with TurkurolapGroup since 2005.He has given during the last 15 years in national and international congresses and courses to more than 1200 urology residents and urologists worldwide basic and advanced laparoscopy training.Dr Arslan has participated to the symposiums, international and national congress as a surgeon to teach participants in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, pyeloplasty, nephrectomy and adrenalectomy with retroperitoneal, transperitonealand U-LESS approaches, retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) with using flexible ureteroscopy and HoLEP (Holmium Enucleation of Prostate) during live surgery sessions.

Dr Arslan hasbeenassigned as a trainerandinvigilatorfor E-BLUStrainingsessions in manynationalandinternationalmeetingsandnow he is the member of Hands on Training (HOT) teamfor EUREP 2017. He has been aFellow of Board of Urology (FEBU) since 2008.He is a member of variousurologicalsocieties. He is general secretary of TurkishAssociationUrology, AegeanBranch. He is past general secretary of ILRSA andnowvicepresident of ILRSA.Since December 2019 Dr Arslan is working as Professor of Urology, at IstanbulOkan University, Department of Urology, Istanbul, Turkey. He has been a member of ESUT (European School of Uro-Technology) Training Group since 2020.
